How do you think Arsene goes about balancing the long term "servants" like Rosicky and Diaby vs playing the new guys (Wilshere) in such a meaningful game? Players will certainly be disappointed about not starting or getting solid minutes off the bench.

Mainly curious who you expect to start between Rosicky, Wilshere, Podolski and Cazorla?

Ramsey-Arteta-Ozil is essentially set, and ahead I would have Podolski-Giroud-Rosicky. Let Wilshere sub on as he's coming back from injury and Cazorla potentially to get a few minutes late.

Yeah, those two have been ace in the run in. Oxlade-Chamberlain should be on the bench for his speed and burst. Rozza on bench. If we're dire we can put in Yaya with Giroud up top and unleash Girongo.

I'd be really surprised if Wenger didn't start Wilshere in this. Everyone will want to play but some will want to play more than others, and I don't think Wenger can separate that from his decision completely. If he's competitive in training, that'll get him the nod.

Hmmm, I'm the only one thinking Rosicky will get a start?

Seen it before with big CL games and it seems fitting.

I think Wenger will stick with Arteta, Ramsey, Özil, Podolski, Cazorla and Giroud.
Rightly so I believe.
He'll start Gibbs ahead of Monreal as long as he's fit enough.
Any news on Per?

Jenko too has played every FA Cup game so far, right? I am not so sure how we will line up actually. I could well see Wenger being stubborn enough to stick with Flappy, Jenko and Sanogo. All madness of course, but he has done it before.

If Gibbs is fit he has to start. Better than Monreal at both ends of the pitch.

I hadn't even considered that Wenger would start Sanogo :o
Or Jenko for that matter.
It's not a time for sentiment, there is a strong argument for starting Fabianski, not Jenko or Sanogo though.

Wenger is all about the trust thing. Remember when he sent our kids out in the Carling Cup final against Chelsea's first team? Then again, he played the best team available against Birmingham. You never know with old man Wenger! 🙂

He's gotten conservative about using inexperienced players though.
I'll be hugely surprised if he starts either Jenko or Sanogo.
