2 years ago Richards was immense in their title winning season, winning the POTY as well. Would definitely take him, worth a gamble inspite of his injury problems.

No more injury prone players....Squad has enough of those as it is

Did he really win POTY? You sure? He was good until about january that year, then he gradually began losing his first team place to Zabaleta.

Wouldnt go near Richards. Shit player, always injured.

Agreed. Don't want him anywhere near our club.

Rodwell's got potential but he's wasted a couple of important years of his development rotting at City. Not sure I'd want him either.

Richards on his day is immense but that's rare. Wouldn't want us to go for him. Too injury prone and brain farty

He's been injured for most of that time.

so this is what the better clubs do with injury prone players, they let them leave. novel idea.

My bad, read the Guardian article wrongly.

Richards was nominated for their player of the year award that season – described by Gareth Bale as the most difficult opponent he faced in England

He is injury prone, that's all. A player who needs to work on his defensive discipline and concentration too though. Those are not things players tend to improve on at Arsenal...
