Thing about how much we have spent is that we have lost players along the way.
Only Sanchez is an addition as it stands, the rest just fill the gaps left from players leaving.
For all the work the club has done we are still short of quality in a position that crucial (CF); an issue that has been at hand for potentially 3 seasons. We are also short a DM in a Midfield packed with a variety of similar players. We also look weak at the back now with two recognized CBs going into the start of the season, though I'm sure this will be addressed by management.
I hope the club does sort out the CF and DM issue as it is obviously in their minds with moves for Suarez in particular suggesting we see CF as a problem area.
Balo would be a good loan signing, but the guy is potential batshit crazy and isn't as great a finisher as he could be. Saying that, he is still a better player on a technical basis than Giorud, who doesn't seem to know how to control a football.
