Di Maria could in theory be a squad replacement for Lavezzi and Pastore. It doesn't necessarily mean that he will oust Cavani out of the starting line-up. Good addition too, since he can play both in central midfield and on both flanks. That improvement would make them about as good as last season since they will weaken the CB spots with Luiz.
