So maybe Gibbs will get number 3 and the new rightback will get number 2.

They really have. £45m for Lallana and Markovic... ffs. Makes you appreciate Wenger in a big way, really not easy to lose a talisman and stay top 4, and he's done it multiple times.

i agree about liverpool though - spending like a europa lge team, though i'd bet rodgers sees it as getting the depth they will need to compete on 4 fronts this season. thing is, they're going to lose suarez.
