No he's much more offensive minded but I can see him being reeducated into a deep lying play-maker because his passing and vision are his best qualities. Klaus obviously disagrees about him being fit for that role though 🙂
Kroos has poor defensive skills. He'd have to be played along with an Alonso. Modric is their key midfielder so probably means Khedira/Di Maria etc one of them is gone

Kroos is brilliant as the deepest midfielder. If he signs for Madrid it is certainly to take over from the over the hill Alonso. Have no idea where the notion comes from that Kroos is some sort of liability defensively.
kroos-schweini hasnt worked for bayern or the NT. dont see kroos-modric working either. pairing him with xabi makes more sense

Agreed. He is probably the best there as well. When he played there during oct-feb, Bayern was brilliant.
