No, my point was that they won't be paying anyone that money. Good on you for finding one exception that suggests they are. It doesn't mean they will do it again. Carroll was a record breaking signing who backfired and it should have cost Sam his job. They're not going to do that again.
Got to remember that from this season every Prem club in the land is making upwards of £30m extra per season with the new tv deal, so 60k+ a week for the right player may not be as daunting as it used to be.
Dortmund have activated their buy out clause for Nuri Sahin. That is two deals wrapped up early for them, announced a deal has been agreed for Adrian Ramos the other day
Good proactive club

🙁
Onto Cavani instead. Offer PSG everything we have in our piggy bank. Steal, lie and borrow to come up with the rest if it's still not enough.
It is the Metro too. Hardly the most reliable source.
If Chelsea end up spending a bomb on a Costa-level player, I'd go for Lukaku. Think Wenger (or whomever good) can turn him into a 30 goal/season player in England and will probably be reasonably priced, which Cavani wouldn't be.
They won't sell to us. They will sell him to Everton for a reduced price just to screw with us, but never Arsenal. They wouldn't even loan us Ba last summer because they feared we would tear it up with a striker who has two feet.
Nah, Mourinho hates us, but they aren't idiots in terms of a business sense over at Chelsea. Just like with Mata, if a "rival" coughs up the cash, they'll sell, and there's no way we cannot match (even double) what Everton will pay him and Chelsea.
I'd rather we didn't give our rivals a fortune for one of their squad players.
There's that too.
Forget Costa we'd be lucky to get Lukaku with Europa

The source is El Confidencial.
No way Chelsea would sell us Lukaku unless we put in a stupid offer but what would be the point in that? If we want to put in a silly offer just offer R.Madrid £35m for Benzema, 26 years old and still has time to get better. Only has a year left on his contract and will give them funds to go out and buy their 2014 superstar.

£32m buy out clause and they are gonna pay £50m? Sounds reliable! But I do think he will join Chelsea, Chelsea will extend their GK's loan for two years and give them the buyout clause money. They'd be silly to turn it down as they won't get any more for the player and keep a top class keeper for another two years.
Hard to believe we'll get a quality and ready CF as there's too few available.

Bayern sign Sebastien Rode
Since 2 seasons ago they already announced Rode. Not new news.

Costa must be thrilled that he'll soon be playing for a club that doesn't have "Azerbaijan" on its kit.
