Liverpool have made an improved 25m bid for Lallana, according to Sky Sports.

pool arent making too many worrying moves. dropping 30m on lambert and lallana is ok business, but i dont see them spending much more without selling suarez first

Judging by the valuations of players & fees being offered already this summer, the new TV money is clearly pushing prices up.

Lallana's an alright option as an attacking mid. No more, no less. Happy for Liverpool to buy him and Lambert for £33m. Although I wouldn't be surprised if they make another couple of big bids for other very gettable players too.

Lallana for £25m LOL

it's 2011 all over again

He's a very good player but probably not worth that money. I do wonder as well what position he'd play as I would have thought a DM and defenders would be their priority this summer. Unless they are planning for Suarez to leave?

Though like the times reporter says, extra revenue is pushing up prices so this might be market value. Also you always pay a premium for English players and players who are experienced in this league. Ashley Young & Downing went for around £18m a few years back and IMO Lallana is a better prospect.

I wonder what Ramsey is worth in this British market.

£40m

Hush! Don't encourage Wenger

In a window where Shaw might leave for £30m I don't think Ramsey is worth just £40m.....

£40m

And the rest!

IF he was worth just 40m we'd be getting bids left, right and centre. He's worth 50m to Barca/Madrid and 60-70m to City.

Lallana for £25m 😆

He is a nice, tidy player and looks like a good lad, but he is not a gamechanger. Would probably start at LM for them. Good for him though, he stuck around at Soton even in the lower leagues when he was clearly much better.

They're making moves to strengthen their club. A lot of you forget just how thin Liverpool were this year. Good moves. Meanwhile, Wenger be wengering

They are decent Everton level players. Liverpool needed more to cling to the top four though. I think it's damning that their big signing has no Champions League experience. Lallana didn't look good when he started playing for England. He'll be out of his depth in Europe for a while.

Players we need are on a level where they are much, much harder to get.

That makes sense. We finished below them in the league, so we need better players just to catch up with them. That's what you meant, right?

How good is Lallana?

Liverpool have apparantly bid 25 million.
