I remember one of the old timers mentioned a few years ago that the Carling Cup would be a great boost for future success. Man United won it in 2006, and then went on a great run over the next few seasons. Does it have the potential to do that for us? Probably not, but i do think our team could use some positive reinforcement(aside from what they constantly get from Wenger et al). I'm excited at the prospect of winning this, although it's nowhere near over. We should be able to handle Ipswich, but West Ham/Brum won't be a pushover in the final.
