I can't see Cavani, Falcao or Costa joining or even Balotelli, Benzema or Mandzukic wanting to join. Morata and Drmic look like huge talents.

A mix of what i think might happen and what i want to happen:

In: Morata, Draxler, Bender, Chambers and Varane.
Out: Bendtner, Vermaelen and Sagna.

Not sure about Giroud. If Giroud leaves, we'll bring in two strikers.

Cavani seems like a crazy prospect but the bottom line is that he will not start over Ibra for another couple seasons at least. I think this season has made that obvious. If he kicks up a fuss, you never know.

If Kroos is on the move this summer, we need to be all over that. A Ramsey and Kroos base at our midfield is the stuff dreams are made of.

I think it is foolish to have any expectations on Walcott whatsoever until January at least. Bet your house on Wenger banking on him to be tip top by September though.

I don't think we should be looking for the next Cavani. The whole point of having funds is that you can go after the current one instead.

I think Cavani would score more in Premier League than he's ever done if he were to sign for Arsenal. You just need to look at the type of player he is. PSG have a team which is built around a player who's both a target striker and a #10 rolled into one. Ibra is a bit unique in modern football that way. He plays for two, literally speaking; he occupies two positions in their attack. If he doesn't score himself he'll act as a playmaker for the others. Cavani on the other hand is your typical vertical striker. Works hard defensively and makes deep runs to get in behind the defence, but without Ibrahimovic there's no one to pick him out.

Now imagine such a striker in a team with Mesut Özil behind him. This is just way too logical to make sense.

This is definitely the dream now with Costa likely going to Chelsea. I think Wenger would spend the money if PSG named a price. It seems next to impossible that PSG will sell though.

What a team we'd have with Cavani up front! Add another central midfielder to rotate with Arteta/Ramsey and we're looking good.

Until a few injuries hit us and we have to once again rely on players who aren't good enough. Two players won't win us the league. We need 2-3 top class players and 2-3 quality players who'll give us certain attributes we need to play the type of football we're trying to play.

Tactics

We need a player in each of the following positions IMO:

Striker: Cavani, Costa or Balo

Wing forward : Reus or Alexis Sanchez (been better than Neymar but can't get a game). El Sharaway is not a bad option if we can't the 1st two.

DM: Iturraspe - Not sure how he'll cope in England and outside of Bilbao (so it's kinda risky), but I like him. Gustavo is the safer option because of his experience at the highest level and he also looks the more Premier league player to me, but Iturraspe is superior on the ball and more intelligent without it IMO.

Fullback: De Sciglio - we should go for him irrespective of whether Sagna stays or not. I think he's got it in him to develop into a top class fullback (both RB and LB) much in the same way as Zambrotta was. Hasn't progressed this season and has picked up a lot of injuries, but I believe in his talent.

Extra : Take a punt on Ravel Morrison.

De Sciglio is a great shout, but I think he's one of those milanistas whose parents and grandparents were supporting Milan long before he was born.
