They're the best club in world football right now, but there's no way they're the biggest. It's a difficult one for Liverpool, they need to improve without ruining what they have now and there's no doubt guys like Mbappe, even if there was a remote chance of him signing, will change up the nature of that front 3. I think they're better off trying to improve the midfield. They can definitely improve on guys like Henderson and Wijnaldum.

I still don't think Mbappé would have an interest in going there, though, for quite a few different reasons.

Not sure if this is what Bryant meant above, but, Werner is much more like Mané than he is Firmino; I'm pretty sure he'd play wide unless they changed how they set up radically. I don't think they could sell him and replace what he does for them easily, even if he's nowhere near as good individually as the two boys out wide.

Yeah I was alluding to the fact that Werner can play across the front 3, which is something that like Pool likes in their attackers.

I also doubt they would sell their attackers, it's more to get a deeper rotation for their squad.

Remains to be seen whether Werner can play across a front three. So far all of his good games have come in a 442

I think they sell. Firmino is 29 in October. These guys will want to keep rotating this squad and keep it high value. If they can get a 80-100m pound star attacker in his place, that’s probbaly first prize. They will know the risk of keeping all their older players too long. Pool have good asset management overall

Think Liverpool will get Werner too. Too many journalists hinting about a summer move for them.

Wenger basically saying we tried for Sancho but couldn't afford to match Dortmund's offer for him. Or rather we didn't want to pay up to his demands. Sad case

Because he's French Parisien and is paid at least as much as any other club would pay him. I could see him going to Madrid and Zidane, not Liverpool though who'll never be as prestigious as Madrid anyway

He’s had a few run-ins with that crazy manager this season. And he has sounded very open minded in interviews about his future. I think he saw PSG as a steppingstone.

Madrid would make sense, but they have not made the right noises. Mbappe should’ve always been the Cristiano replacement.

I think our stocks just crashed in terms of our ability to attract players to our cause.
