How would wages be a blocker? He’s a kid. I’d be surprised if makes more than 40,000 pounds a week

Would be exactly what we need. Unfortunately the eyes of the entire world will be on him and we don't even seem to be getting linked to him.

Milan have strong backing. If we compromise on fee (eg £15m), they can make a plan on wages. They might need to rearrange his pay packet though, while keeping him whole. Good on Gazidis for cleaning up his own mess

Brandt should be a priority: 20 mil for a potential star, if we have to guarantee him a spot I would do it.

Rabiot: For free, again his talent and price level can’t be beaten

Dunk: very physical, great in the air, used to the physical nature of the league and the tempo, I think he has got another level or two in him

I would also go to Barca for either Coutinho or Malcom on loan with an option to buy.

If you get Brandt on the right, then you go for Coutinho on the left.

If you do not get Brandt, you go for Malcom to play on the right.

Brandt and Dunk would be great pickups. We'd be looking at £30-40 million in total which seems like the ideal price range for us this summer. It would still leave us with cash to blow on two nailed-down starters in midfield and defence too.

Exactly

That does not include us selling players and the money recouped.

In theory if we are competent in the transfer market, we could do some great business.

Konante, Cedric, max Aarons, Bertrand, Zaha, Ndidi etc

There are targets out there for us.

Wouldn't mind at all. A CB pairing of him and Holding would be class I reckon. Leicester would want too much for him though.

Maguire is pretty good. He'd be a good signing.

Maguire would be big bucks. Don't care though, we should get him. Or if it can't be done we spend that money on both Dunk and Diop. I would say 40 - 50 million will do it.
That should solve our CB problem , then we need to find a LB and RB . What do we think of Gaya?

diop will be pricey. west ham didn't get him for peanuts, and he's coming off a good debut season

After seeing him get shredded by Trippier and Co I do not want him. He was completely helpless in that second half.

Team in England always go through the wings and try to overload, I would not want someone who seems like he would go missing in that situation

Gaya is very good, and couple of seasons ago he looked like a world beater, but Valencia very rarely sell cheap. I dread to think what the price would be, unless he has a clause

Yeah he was so so bad. Diving into every challenge like an idiot and being beaten by pace, by positioning and in the air. Absolutely do not want.
