Yea I think they'll sell kane to help fund the stadium. He gets move they get a massive chunk of stadium debt paid he could go for 100m + to United.

I don't think Eriksen is likely to stay at Spurs. Real are planning a big bid to buy him. I suspect that's why Eriksen is stalling on signing a new contract with them.

Cesc was easily x3 times the player Ramsey ever was. We could beat anyone with Cesc in the side. No matter how poor Denison, so any song or eboue were you could always be hopeful of a result with Cesc. He even completely bossed that classic Milan side and created a ton of chances.

With Ramsey in the middle instead you always get the feeling we could be on the receiving end of a trashing.

There is no comparison here. Ramsey done well for us but Fabregas was different gravy. GOAT level midfielder. One of the best CM's in the history of the PL.

Not sure how much Spurs people watch. Eriksen would walk in as far and away our best AM and instantly improve us. If there was a way to Sol Campbell him, I would take him. He’s a technically excellent player who runs the offense really well. Also good on few kicks and scores a bit too. Will he ever be mistaken for peak Ozil or Cesc? No. But point is players with that talent and form don’t pitch up everyday.

If we consider players like Ramsey legends, we’ll run out of marble.

Looking at this list (https://www.arsenal.com/history/gunners-greatest-50-players), I fail to see how you could even construct much of an argument that Ramsey isn't better than any player at #9 or lower over the totality of their respective Arsenal careers. It's not as if we're a big club anyway.

some of those players have won doubles, crowning titles at Old Trafford and WHL! Ljungberg also scored a glorious FA Cup final goal against Chelsea. The team in 1998 got 45/51 and a crucial away win at Old Trafford to grab the crown. I could see Ramsey top-20 there, and I don't believe I'm romanticizing the pre-emirates era glories.

That's very disingenuous. That omits the passes stat which lead to the chance creating pass. So crucial.

I don't like the list re 50 greatest as IMO it's too top heavy of players of recent times & I wouldn't have Le Sulk on the list at all same with Merse, Charlie Nicholas, Wiltord & Woodcock, whereas the Legends on the mural is a far better representation.
