We should be looking at his team mate De Ligt. He's the sort of CB that understands the game we try to play. I reckon he'll end up at one of the big clubs that play with a ball playing CB (Barca, Bayern, City etc)

When Ozil goes I really hope thats what happens. Sign a top DM and play him with any 2 of Ramsey, Wilshere and Xhaka. That would be a really good midfield.

From the little I've managed to see of him he looks a massive talent. Everything you'd want in a centrehalf. Hope we're looking at him.

Looks like City are about to sign Aymeric Laporte so they may be one less club to compete with in the next couple of transfer windows at least.

Pavard is another young French Bundesliga CB we should have a look at

I don't really know about him, but the few matches I saw Pavard he was playing as a full back. What's his best position? Interesting talent

We do need to get younger (Auba and Mhiki are basically 2 yr stopgaps and will have little resale value), and we desperately need to replace Gilberto still.

Thank god we have Sven. He's our biggest transfer in a long time, much more important than Ozil, Sanchez, etc.

If Aubameyang isn't happening we need another player in who can score goals. We've just sold Sanchez and Walcott who scored nearly 50 goals between them in all competitions last season.

a wilshere/ramsey 2 man midfield is asking for trouble.

if we had fabinho to play between them, with jack on the left and ramsey on the right of him, i think it would actually work really well

Fabinho would be the guy for me and is the fellow we should have always been chasing at Monaco, not Lemar. If Wilshere stays healthy, you have one of the best pairings in England. If not, you always have Ramsey and Xhaka combinations as well, but now you can build midfields that actually make sense. I would prioritize this over deadwoods like Johnny Evans if there was the slightest hope, and sell any remaining scrap like Welbeck to fund it.
