Should be Jackson Martinez if it is either him or the French dude.

In terms of priorities should be Roberto Martinez > Inigo Martinez > Javi Martinez > Jackson Martinez

There's just too much work to wishlist over the next two transfer windows.

I would spend £40 million on Mats Hummels, £60 million on Edinson Cavani and £30 million on Sami Khedira. Sell whoever you have to in order to fund those transfers and take it from there. Cazorla would be a good candidate since his name still has some credibility in Spain. Time to recoup his transfer fee. Rip up the contracts for Rosicky, Diaby and Flamini - all they do is cost money. Get rid of Sanogo and Campbell. When all this is done, let's start on the squad. Find someone better than Szczesny; it honestly shouldn't be that hard. There are a ton of keepers in Europe who don't get beaten by the first shot on goal in every game. Get a real leftback. Get a real rightback. Hell, let's bring in a winger too because we only have one in Walcott who's good enough - and he got injured again before he even made his first start in 2014.

If we fix these minor flaws we have a real possibility of challenging for the league and Champions League next season. It just takes £300 million, a new manager and 10 new players. I can't even be fucked thinking about it. We're years away.

Cech would be a dream signing tbh. Knows the league, knows the language, knows the city as is one of the best GKs in the league.

On the other hand he's a chav and he wears a silly hat. Pass.

Tons of work to do Klaus.

I'd agree get what quality we can now and be patient. Perhaps gear the side up to have Alexis spearhead it.

I change my thinking a lot but right now I'd go out and get Hummels, Marchisio, Schneiderlin, Clyne, El Shawaary

So Klaus is actually usmanov.strengthening every position. The fat cat is out the bag.

He looks a good prospect, doesn't he?

The new Wellbeck.

Lacazette? The Lyon player? Haven't been particularly impressed.

He scores lots of goals. I know he's not as smiley or tall haired as Welbeck but I think the goals should make up for it.

Ligue 1 is cack though. Reckon Welbeck would score a few in there.

Anyway, we should be looking to do better than that. No more Welbeck/Giroud level players.

Fix the gaping holes in defence and midfield first and then go all out for a proper world class striker. Welbeck-Giroud are enough to get us top4(if the rest of the team did their part), if our ambitions are higher than that, then we need to go a lot higher in the striker department than Lacazette.

Finally, someone that gets it.

Absolutely spot on. The 'only two players short' is so 2008. We are miles away at the moment.

Apparently, we are a Schneiderlin and backup CB from winning major honours. LOL.

City won the league last year with Dzeko and Negredo playing as strikers, put them in our team and we would still finish fourth. We are moving too slowly in the transfer market. One big 35m+ signing a year isn't enough, we need 2 or 3 of those every year.

Cruciate ligament rupture, expected to be out until February 2015.

Schneiderlin's a better buy than Javi for me. He's better on the ball, more of a natural pivot. Cheaper too.
