Either way Berardi doesn't sound like the guy we want for 2014-15.

Well I haven't watched the lad, just from what Klaus was writing he sounded like he was still a long way off.

Fuck it buy them both and let Sanogo, Campbell, etc go elsewhere.

He's some ways off but it could change quickly. Another season and he won't be attainable. It's not a reinforcement as much as it's a signing for the future, bit similar to when we picked up van Persie maybe.

I think he'd be a good buy in any case. He used to be a left winger so he'd be an option for the flank too.

He's Juventus' player, yes.

They've obtained 100% of his license, yes. I don't think they see him as part of their future though. They loaned him out to Sassuolo again this season and bought Morata instead. My feeling is that they're hoping to make a good buck off him, but if he keeps on developing like this they will have to keep him.

Unless, as is being made out, we have Manolas and Carvalho basically on hold for the result next week (I know, I am really dreaming here) and we then have a few days to just chase a striker. On a wing and a prayer again, as with every transfer window.

It's incredible how every season follows one of two patterns: - Disappointing close season, good start to the new season, team falls off due to injuries/general rubbishness in the latter half and we sweat about finishing fourth OR disappointing close season, horrendous start to the new season, panic amongst the fans and the team pulls their fingers out in the second half of the season and we sweat about finishing fourth. Despite the optimism this close season, we seem to back in pattern. Just hope we get a result from Besiktas, else the next three years could be really ugly.

Occasionally tbh, at times i catch a game on TV and at other times im required to watch it thanks to my occupation. I just dont rate that league at all.
