i'd take a punt on falcao on loan as well, with a view to permanent move. he's desperate to get out of there, and monaco want him off the books. they've been battered twice already this season.

Really unsure what is happening with Falcao. Is he going to Real, like always thought? Are they waiting for Di Maria sale to proceed with it? Would Benzema have signed that extension, knowing he would be relegated to the bench by the arrival of the Colombian? We have a week to go and dominoes will start falling soon again i feel and we must be around to profit from it.

Falcao will stay where he's at. His wages are €18.2 million per year, he tore an ACL last season and Monaco would be looking to recuperate the €60 million they spent on him at the very least if he were to move. No one wants a striker who turns 29 in february for that kind of money.

Falcao is not better than Cavani. He's a very good goalscorer but he doesn't belong to the elite tier of strikers, and never did.

Aren't there any talented young strikers out there that you can invest in and buy for say 20-30 million without paying crazy money?

It seems like the only good ones are super expensive, on massive wages and in their late twenties so they're pretty terrible investments.

I don't count him. I know he's not that old. But he's been to three big clubs already, on his way to his fourth and is clearly trouble for every club he's been at. I'm talking about talented, young strikers with big potential who have yet to make the jump to a big club. I guess Jovetic would have been that type of player before he went to City?
