I want a serious footballer. Balotelli's not one.
Yeah. Let's get him. It'd be pretty neat seeing a guy play for us upfront who can control a ball and shoot
He'll get serious over time. He'll be quality meanwhile, and we need quality more than we need seriousness.
Dammit.
New wish
Balotelli, Khedira and howedes
That's a league title right there. Probably won't cost more than £50 million either. Move one or two players the other way and we're good to go.
Gawd tis all so frustrating
Watching Giroud is making me warm to the idea of Balotelli. 🙁
I'd like to know what's going on inside Wenger's head.
He's managed the likes of Weah, Wright, Anelka, Kanu, Bergkamp, Henry and van Persie and is now persisting with Giroud for the third year running. It just doesn't make any sense.
Balotelli won't win us the league. Just an unprolific trouble maker.
Never mind Giroud, we've had Chamakh, Bendtner and Sanogo as back up options in these three years as well.
I'd already blocked the former two out of my memory. Argh.
I'd take Balotelli on a loan deal looking at our current crop up technique less plop up front. Can't be any worse of a pro than a guy who fails to match his international teammate in being ready for the start of the club season.
At the very least Balotelli can control the ball, a step up from Giroud and Sanogo.

Tell me about it. It's like Wenger has forgotten what a decent striker looks like.
Wenger seems still to have his obsession with "quality" at the right price and the notion that he will only add players who are an improvement on those we already have. The bar then to buying a striker is presumably that in Wengerland the likes of Cavani are not worth the price he'd have to pay, and the strikers that we might class as a level below Cavani are not a significant enough improvement on Giroud. The only way we progress on this is if he accepts he'll have to pay stupid money for a truly great CF. I think I've given up on him doing that, I've not seen any signs this summer that he's going to go as far as he needs to.
balotelli would have been anyonymous tonight the way midfield played. i'm more concerned with getting that area right tbh.
Khedira, Reus, Cavani
Do it!

he also persisted with almunia for like 6 years, and denilson for like 5 yrs. there's always some excuse as to why we can't field a complete team that doesn't have a laughable absence of quality at a crucial position.

Think he would have scored two of Giroud's chances...
As would have any better striker.
can't say that with any authority. balo is far from clinical
Don't know why everyone uses Giroud as a yard stick anyway. If we buy a striker like Balotelli we'd be stuck with him so he'd have to be good enough in his own right.
