i think i'd be ok with aurier. supposed to be positionally suspect because he loves getting forward, but with an incredible engine and athleticism. read somewhere that he'd already captained toulouse on occasion - seems a real fighter like sagna and lauren before him.

I dont think age was a question in Sagnas case. He just wanted too much - which is his right, if he had a far superior offer on the table.

He's probably the best player but not the best option. If he gets caught up the field mert will be out covering and he's shocking when pulled out wide.
Not sure we need a rb that stays so high when you think of how high Theo plays.
If we start letting crosses in from that side Gibbs will be beaten in the air time and time again.

He proved himself pretty well last season.

Me neither. He had his ups and downs of course, but generally he had a very solid season.

Armor

He has no real experience as a lone striker but i'm convinced Alexis Sanchez would be great in that position. And if not he can play wide or as part of a front 2. If he's available i'd sign him no question. I think he'll perform better as a key player somewhere rather than Barca where its a battle for a starting place.

Definitely. Think he will be great even as a lone striker actually because his hold up play is phenomenal.

Don't fancy him as a striker but I think he'd be phenomenal on the wing for us.

It really is, he's surprisingly strong.

He basically has similar pace and movement to Theo but is much stronger physically and better technically. He can also produce something special now and then. Didn't he play up front the odd time for Barca?

Really hope we got a top notch player like Alexis, Pedro, Di Maria or Bernard

I fear we'll go a tier down though and get some like Griezmann.

I'm tired of watching clunky functional play

Get some verve and fluidity back in the attack

With Wilshere, Podolski, Cazorla, Walcott, Flamini, Arteta, Rosicky and Chamberlain providing main support. That's enough talent to last a season
