If Sagna goes as looks likely that's two players we need - his direct replacement and his replacement as a 4th centre back.
We also need a GK.
That's three players just to retain the status quo and before we even look at strengthening the key positions of a striker, DMF and ideally another wide forward.
That type of planning and ambition is just a pipe dream under Wenger, and it is absolutely baffling. 2/3 players will get us 4th again next year - it is as if he does not want to take that next step and really challenge by going for it in the transfer market.
It is all so frustrating and predictable hearing the same old shit year after year.
