That's what I was going to say Kami, it's questionable how much input Bouldie is allowed.
We all know Wenger thinks defending is tantamount to "anti football".
I don't think people realise how deep Wengers roots have penetrated, this is what I alluded to before about the rot.

I'm just scared that if we win the FA cup the board immediatly anounces a new deal with Wenger, winning the FA cup could be the worst thing to happen to us now.

i'd respect wenger again if he walked at the end of the season. the easiest thing would be to 'keep getting them cheques' and just sign a new deal. if he left that money on the table and walked away despite the arsenal hierarchy gagging for him to sign on again, it would be a sign that his arrogance isn't as bad as i fear.

Has anybody watched Wenger's recent post match interviews? The once great man now looks battered, speaks meekly and is void of any confidence, just like our team. Seems like the repeated beatings and humiliation over the years have sucked the life out of him. The 1000th game fiasco just sums it up for me. To think they made an iPhone app dedicated to his 1000th...😆

Don't fall into that trap POP, you can enjoy our cup win (if we can manage it) because the fact is Wengers contract had nothing to do with what is achieved on the pitch.
He is employed solely as as economic administrator (and is doing a fine job as far as the board is concerned), as far as Wenger himself is concerned he's one of the highest paid "managers" in the PL why would he want to give that all that up?
He has 7 million reasons a year to hang around.
As far as we fans are concerned, well we don't matter except at ticket renewal time.

The amount of scratching he is doing shows how uncomfortable he is. Problem is he can't identify the issues that lead to these goals and why we get hammered, or at least he can't resolve them within the team.

If anyone has read about Brain Clough's tenure I feel there are huge parallels here with Wenger. I just hope we can win the cup and let him bow out in style. If we don't I see him staying on till he wins something or we get right into the mire.
