Qs every manager wants to work with top players we bid for hazard and gotze before that. We bought ozil Wenger does want top players. He doesn't want 25m players that can't cut it against the top teams.
Lets have some perspective, he's spent money, he's identified great targets last summer.
It took unlimited money Chelsea and City years to get a top team together. We have funds now not unlimited and people expect a squad of world class players immediately.
After years of no investment we've sorted out the mortgage on the stadium. We have a squad with holes and money. We could have spent more have far less money but a better squad and have higher interest on the mortgage for the next 15 years.
It's hard to tell exactly how frugal we had to be but were in a great position now :-)
