Ramsey and Koscielny have been head and shoulders above everyone else.
Absolutely ridiculous the praise Ozil gets here, he's been slap bang average so far.
Admittedly his average is better than most players and I never criticise players in their first season but we should expect far more from him.

if people are waiting for Ozil to light up, good luck to them. you're not going to get much more than what you have seen so far. he's not going to give you flash, and he's not going to give you goals. what he will do is what he has done all season, which is keep the offense flowing with his clever movement, understanding with Ramsey/Wilshere, and incisive passing.

if you're looking for screamers, overhead kicks, Hollywood Song Billong 50 yard passes, etc., you're going to be disappointed

To be fair this season he hasn't even been as good as Silva was the year City won the league. He has more to offer, that's for sure.

We're at the top of the table and he and Flamini are the only players we've added in the front six. He has a brilliant relationship with Ramsey who's playing out of his skin in part thanks to Ozil. And he's getting healthy numbers himself.

Plus his quality is self-evident. Almost every touch is top drawer. Given the usual stuff about "adaptation" and so on, at the moment he's stepped in with authority.

Because it's not often Wenger'll spend 42m and we haven't had our moneys worth yet.

More to come from Ozil for sure but he has still been top class in so many aspects.

His effect on our movement off the ball is so evident. It has been such a big failing for the team over the last two seasons.

i suspect we've seen the best of Walcott. last year, like Defoe, he played well but propped up his numbers by beating up on pub teams.
Wenger needs to rationalise that frontline. he needs to find a way to turn Walcott, Park, Bendtner into one high quality attacking attacking midfielder or striker.

Off the top of my head he scored against Chelsea and United and scored a load of cruicial goals in our run in. Historically he's always scored or made an impact in big games too. All the best players 'prop up' their numbers against 'pub teams'. Suarez, Ageuro, Ronaldo, Ibrahimovich and Messi don't play Bayern Munich every week.
