Have you seen Spain's recent squads?

Spain and Germany are much better, on paper, than Brazil. This is a really weak Brazilian squad.

Btw, leaving Miranda and Filipe out is ridiculous.

Might be putting too much weight on the Confederations Cup, but this Brazil team looked perfectly matched against Spain there. Depends how willing Del Bosque is to change it up and use his form players. Think Germany are going to disappoint in their first game against a top side and Brazil or Argentina will win the whole thing.

Good shout, been overlooked alongside Benatia who has shone much brighter. Scolari is very conservative, he mostly went for players he used before and understands well rather than gamble on a better, brighter talent.

I don't think pace is the big problem with Maxwell, he have always been great in attack but defensively very very shaky. Against Chelsea he was at fault for at least 2 goals. That said, he won't be playing much ahead of Marcelo anyway unless the latter is still injured.
