Bony is a good pick, but bigging up his stats from Holland?
I actually thought he was a guy we should have taken a punt on last summer, along with a top striker of course. He is pretty useless in general play, but that is a thing a manager like Wenger could have got up to scratch with a bit of work. I quite like big, strong CF who is excellent in the air, has pace, and packs a punch with both feet. Another striker better than Giroud btw. 🙁

his numbers this season are pretty good, so i dont think he'll be another mateja kezman. really strong, scores with both feet and on headers. reminds me a bit of lukaku.

I think it's a good fit. He's a unit and he'll sit which would allow Coleman to go forward. Very balanced IMO

wanted a decent passer with a bit of tactical maturity. someone to sit back and protect the back four.

I don't even know what the league scoring is based on. Is it best players this season or is it the performance expected if they were fully fit and top of their game?

For example, I picked Vidic because he's an excellent defender on his day. He may not be the great right now but he's better than someone like Phil Jones. Does that make sense?

I think it's just who are they are now, given their usual, normal fitness, and eliminating team factors (since they don't play for that team, they play for you). So Theo isn't a zero just because he happens to have a torn ACL, but one would probably consider that Diaby is chronically injured.

But isn't this firstly a PL draft and also a "current" draft?

Imo how they did in PL (excluding longevity) and whether they are past it would need to be taken account into, but yes not injuries and form. If not, the entire thing would never make sense.
