Not really Wenger didn't like Arteta for 1m but he did like him for 10m 6 years later

Will be interesting to see what we do, whether if possible he'll go all out in January or get someone in to do the job now and then in the summer have a look at other options like Benzema or even Rooney. Suarez is out of the question now, whether that is January or the summer so need to move on from that.

We signed Sanogo and we played Bendtner against City - any random oddness is a possibility in the striker department.

Yeah, but I think Sanogo would have been picked up anyway on a free. And Bendtner is only here because our transfer negotiators failed another summer. None of them were brought in as reinforcements while we were chasing the league though.

Morata would make a tiny bit of sense if it was a straight buy. Could be a Bendtner replacement in january. But a loan deal? What would be the point? Players on his level are a dime a dozen if we're looking for squad bolstering. His main incentive to leave Real Madrid would be to increase his playing time too.
