Arsenal Football Club has announced it will be increasing its ticket prices by three per cent, in line with inflation, next season. It will be only the third across-the-board increase on prices in the nine seasons the Club will have been at Emirates Stadium. Prices within the Family or Young Guns Enclosure for Team JGs (four to 16 years) and Young Guns (12 to 16 years) to attend B and C category matches will remain unchanged at £10. Season ticket holders' individual prices will be communicated at the time of renewal. Renewals for Club Level season tickets will begin in February. More information about the renewal process will be provided closer to the time.

Fuck off Kroenke. Saw the first bit of good form and decided to tax the fans.
Fucking knew it.
Big deal...
My travel card will go up 10% in january for the 20th year running.
And that's something that I actually can't function without.
Had you pegged for a cab kind of guy, Capi. To avoid the plebs. 🙂
The roads are pointless at certain times of the day.
Read somewhere that the average time to cross London by car is 13mph, the same as it was in 19th century by horse and coach.
TFL had it at 8.8mph last time I read a study, although that was only between 07.00 and 19.00 and in central london.
It's an inflationary rise to be fair, anything less and it would essentially be a price cut in real terms, which is what they've been doing for the last few years so this was coming.

It is, when the club is minting it.
What a nothing thing to get upset about.
Amazing reaction here. So detached from the reality of football amongst trivial things.
Works out to about £50-70 on a season ticket, or do I have that wrong?
Not a vast amount of money but not negligible either …
Its about raising the prices when the club has huge cash reserves and even more coming this summer. Why gouge the fans for mere 2m?
To get us another Özil.

End of the day, it's a luxury item and they'll charge whatever they can get away with.

Or 42 million Flamini's.
I'd rather have half an Özil.
My army of undead 42 million Flamini's will crush you.
