I wish people at least watched players like OZil play instead of judging how good or bad he has been looking merely at his goal + assists.
No offence intended, but opinions of people who do not matter (us fans) do not count.
Mourinho and Wenger who are undoubtedly two top managers clearly watched the guy going by their respective team formations and tactics.
Mourinho edged this one as he managed to nullify Ozil and our disappointment is that he, being our star player, did not overcome the attentions of his permanent marker.
Their defensive tactics were to deny space and time to players who might hurt them and hit us hard on the break. That's why he played Ramires who has the nous and quickness to shut down skillful midfielders and Hazard as the outlet guy for ball retention with Lampard's goal threat and Mikel the DM.
As their players are physically bigger and stronger than ours, they were able to employ the physical approach, when needed, as Dean was the ref.
They did not win, imo*, because they also played a donkey upfront instead of Etoo/Ba and Willian instead of Mata!
