Koscielny was outstanding until his trademark brainfart moment when he gave the pen away. Giroud on the other hand was diabolical and Nasri did his usual disappearing act away from home and bottled a great chance to make it 1-1. Why Deschamps picked Abidal and Debuchy is beyond me. One is a pensioner, the other is average at best. Considering Sagna was available as well, criminal stuff.
International bore break nov 13
Haha no brazil 2014 for France. Whole nation lacks a backbone
Giroud is just so deficient technically. He hits simple 5 yards passes in the air.
Why didn't Sagna and Benzema start...
he wont hold the season..either we buy someone better in january or he cracks and fans will get on his back..hes not as good as his current regard, expectations and future need..and he will be only more and more exhausted
He's been put in a pressured situation. He has strenghs and weakness but we seriously need another option

Most Arsenal fans won't accept this oddly.
Giroud's game is pockmarked with moments where he gets it's spot on.
Every so often he controls that ball perfectly, it's more an exception than the norm though.
Hope he hits a purple patch between now and January.
yea every once in a while, i score a nice goal in 5-a-side too.
just saw the pen that kos gave away. classic kos fuckup. normal ball in the air, no real danger, but decides to do too much and gets turned, still had a defender behind him but commits a clear peno anyway. i'm sure he was sick the rest of the game, but that fuckup makes that all irrelevant.
he always tries to do too much. he needs to play a little more conservatively and just trust his teammates when he does get beat.

Not really, then won Marseille's first title in a while and Juve Serie B (not that hard though).
Anyway, why ain't you dying for Sweden to go through? Would have thought so.
No team has overturned a 2 goal deficit in such play-offs, Ukraine and Greece is in a really good position.
Amusingly and predictably the French press get stuck into Nasri.
It's all his fault, and Ribery's for insisting he was played and Deschamps' for picking him.
I think France will turn it around at home. They should really start Benzema.
Giroud's banned so Benzena has to start.
Edit: I've learnt that's not actually true.
I reckon the home crowd will be on their backs within twenty minutes if they're not creating chance after chance.
Vermaelen and Jenkinson (U21s) were our only players to play the full ninety last night. Not bad.
Özil played about thirty minutes, Jack got subbed with about twenty to go.
Ramsey will probably play ninety for Wales during the week though
Santi will probably play for Spain today as well.
France might as well just stop playing international football n just stick to making cheese n wine and those boiled sweets which come in a long row
Never known such a lame country

Why do you hate France?
Footballistically they've won more than us. We have a backbone but we don't really know how to play effectively. France now is like us in 2007/08.
When I was in America I was talking to an American who had never been to Europe except Portugal where his wife was from. He didn't want to visit France or Germany. Germany because of the War and France because he thought it was lame as "they lose all their wars".

It also coincided with Marseille having a lot of money again. He was still disastrous for long spells there. Remember that time when he went 16 games (or something similar) without a single win? He started out well at the club and finished piss poor. I know a few hardcore Marseille fans. None of them were sad to see him go.

I just don't care about international football. It's not 'my' team. I don't feel that I have any allegiance to them just because the players happen to be born in the same country as I was.

Aaron only playing a single game though so it's not too bad.
Apart from Santi and Giroud it should be a decent break for the others.
Giroud is suspended for the next game, so it is a nice little vacation for him too.
Jazz G says that's not true
I've read several places that he is suspended but I've not seen it reported anywhere as official.
