Must frustrate Ibrahimovic that he has to go to the NT and play with players just above pub player level. Oh well, there were about 5 exciting minutes there when Ibrahimovic made it 2-1. At least Portugal usually take part in one top game in the Euros/WC. Had Sweden gone there would have been a 3 game snooze fest guarantee.

Gerrard and Lampard will both struggle with the WC schedule, especially Lamps. Wilshere has to start for England really. They just don't have anyone else in midfield who can do what he does. Against the top teams Gerrard and Lampard are wanting these days. Carrick is good but he's not going to change games.

No he doesn't. The papers seem to agree with you but he's been in decent form for us over the last while. If he's not doing it for England then it's for Hodgson to fix.

I could probably count Wilshere's good games for us in 2013 on one hand. He's clearly been out of form/fitness for a long time now.
