I didn't take any notice of that at the time as I was too relieved 🙂
It's quite amusing on the replay though to see Ramsey congratulate Giroud but then look slightly irritated that the celebration was continuing on, you could see again that he just wanted to get on with things.

I realised just how much Giroud gets on my nerves during that celebration, to be honest. After I got the initial "get the fuck in!" out of my system, his smug face annoyed me a little. The fact that we looked like shit and Wenger's going to leave us half baked again also played its part.

Do you not think it's going a bit far to hate a player so much that you are still annoyed by him after a moment like that? Just proves it's personality/look that is the root of most peoples problem with Giroud.

I can't stand him as a footballer, the fact that he's an arrogant twonk that barely runs or closes down makes it even worse.

I'm the opposite. Giroud is someone I would like a lot if he were better at football. You just need to hear him answer questions in a post-match interview to realise that he's a pretty intelligent guy.

For me it's a little bit of both, personality on the pitch and his footballing skills...
Whether he scores or not, he is almost always involved in the celebration even if he is on the bench! So loves the spotlight, at least that's how he comes off....Are his skills good enough for a team with big time aspirations? No... But that is Wenger's responsibility....

As Marv mentioned in the Injury Thread he said that he hopes to play Wednesday (he's turned his ankle and it requires further examination).

I am Swedish, and I can't stand him either. My anger is in pretty equal measure that he is a poor footballer, and Wenger being a twonk for having him as first choice.

This is what i dont get though. How are his limitations his fault though, in a sense that you must hate him as a person? And whenever he's on the pitch for Arsenal, doesnt he deserve support, instead of hate? Its not him who's making the team selection after all.
