Stamina isn't his best attribute. I'd say that's his pace and tenacious approach to defending. He's hard to beat one on one

In 2002 most would have laughed at the thought of Kolo playing centre half for us.
Yeah but Kolo had the Campbell the colossus to learn from. We haven't got anyone at that level in the team at the back.
Loads a young budding centre half could learn from Kos and Mert.
Kolo had also played as a CB quite a lot before coming here.
Per is the greatest thing everrrrrr 😆
His general athleticism and build are his main strengths imo, if he works on his positioning he'd make a fine centre half.
He doesn't read the game and he doesn't have any skills on the ball. Keep him wide where we can minimise the damage.
Even in the background almost out of shot he exudes menace.

News to me.
Started off at centre mid, then moved to centre half for Charlton yoof teams. Broke through in to the first team at left back initially.
Ok. Kolo played at CB for Ivory Coast though prior to getting the chance here in that position. Slightly different, but worth mentioning.
That's what I want to see for the season after the one which is soon starting.
