Quite a few.
Stocking fillers—a letter to Stan-ta Klaus
You guys really wouldn't take Berbatov if there's no better options?
Nah, no need. He's been pretty shit at Fulham, plays at a snail's pace. Don't think he'd work well with Özil.
He's one of the main reasons they are going down this season.
Think he could be useful, if no one else is available. Much better footballer than either Bendtner or Giroud.
He's totally useless.
He's not helped but Jol was a mess. Playing a shitty 442 with weird personnel and some terrible transfers. Can't understand why they took on Darren Bent and used him the way they did. Amorebieta has been one of the worst CBs I've ever seen in the PL. He's literally made at least one error that has lead directly to a goal in ever match he's played. He cost them three at Anfield. Added yet another combative mid in Derek Boateng. Problem is, he's not even combative. Meulensteen should have never gone there, can't see him lasting more than a few more months. Curbishley is a good manager to bring them back up though.
Just a complete cluster fuck of a club. I'll smash this PC to bits if we drop points to them.

Oh come on! He is not better than Giroud.
I dont see what he would add to our game, so no thanks.
I said he's a better footballer.
He's got better technique but that doesn't make him a better footballer. It just makes him a better technician.
If people are complaining that Giroud doesn't make vertical runs I can't imagine what they'll think of Berbatov.
I agree his talent his appealing but he would only further slow down our game while doing little to help the team.
He's got better technique, better first touch, better dribbler, better finisher, better at set pieces. Giroud is probably faster than him, has more stamina, is a better header of the ball and has better movement. Still makes him better with a football than Giroud, who offers other things.
All that matters is that Berbatov doesn't play better football than Giroud. That makes him a lesser footballer, not a better one.
I'd pass on berba. Bendtner would do as much if not more
When's Duffer back?
Diego Simeone: "I read that Milan would sell Balotelli, give him to me & I'll show you how to ignite his enthusiasm."
A proper manager would make the kid unstoppable.
Balotelli to Atletico, Costa to Arsenal and everybody's happy.
Milan Badelj is a good player. Liked him a lot the few times I saw him last season but was told by HSV followers he's inconsistent.
Looks meh
More ability than Flamteta.

I would if it's a loan or a short-ish contract. Take a gamble on him getting motivated for six months.

Take out your shiny new SSD first Volly.

I'd rather play Bendtner and I think you all know what I think of Bendtner.
I've been watching a bit of Southampton in the last few months. Lovren is a really good defender, isn't he? We should go for him when Vermaelen leaves this summer.
Yep he's quality, still pretty young too isn't he? Could have a really good career ahead of him at the right club.
Southampton are going to get picked apart over the next couple of summers.
Yeah, he's only 24. Could be a good backup for us for several years and still have the prospect of becoming a starter at some point when Merte or Kos slows down.
He is very good. But i'd rather Vermaelen stays. Would be a big blow and a loss of a lot of experience if Vermaelen, Sagna and Rosicky all left.
I'd keep Vermaelen too but I think there's little chance of that.

I think Vermaelen is too good to sit on the bench for us, he won't go in January but almost definitely leave in the summer. Tough situation for both because it would be unfair to force him to stay when we know he isn't going to become first choice. Who knows though, if we have a good season he might wanna try another year.
Like Klaus says we need to start looking at beyond Per and Koscielny, both getting close to 30 so they've got a few years ahead of them but need to start planning beyond that. Not always possible to go out and just buy a player at the time, sometimes best to get someone in and then gradually ease them in.
Don't like Lovren. He is the kind who gives away stupid penalties, already very lucky on a handful of occasions this season in the box.
Would rather go for Schar, Ecuele Manga or Balanta. I reckon the latter will be the best defender in the world in a few seasons time.

Original article. Shockingly accurate quote being reported, worth noting just for that.

Here is a guy we could try to sign!

Definitely. Big statement signing too
Here is another guy we could sign, and possibly this month! Arsenal his boyhood club, would love to play for us, his club in financial difficulties, scores truckloads of goals, has a decent buy-out clause...

Nah pass.
We'd win the league with him instead of Giroud for the bulk of our games, so I'd welcome him with open arms.

Yep, Jackson Martinez is a dud.
Solomon Rondon anyone? Linked with him when he was at Malaga, look to have decent goalscoring stats since moving to Rubin too.
