They were talking about Vucinic again on The Sunday Supplement today. Juve want to sell, we want a loan. If it gets to the end of Jan and Juve can't get rid of him maybe they'll go for the loan option.

I really want Vucinic now. I could see a dozen reasons why it wouldn't work out but the bloke is a proper football artist. It's worth the risk. Particularly if the alternative is to do nothing at all in January.

Vucinic is a big game player, a scorer of big goals, he's got that magic that can decide tight games, but he's indeed not consistent over the course of a season.

Get it done Arsene, 6 months loan deal.

Vucinic would be a very good stop gap. I wouldn't even mind getting him on a 2,5 year deal.

That is my feelings on this as well, I would be open to keeping him on a permanent deal as well if he does well. We need imo at least 3 capable strikers so him along with a top quality striker in the summer will see us sorted for that position.

Always liked Vucinic. Hes good all round and thats what we need. The last thing we need is a pure goal scorer that isn't scoring while he adapts to the league. Vicinic always looked like he could take his game up a level to consistently provide brilliance. Maybe its just poor professionalism impossible to tell but it could be that he just needs freedom hes not getting in Italy to preform to his best.

I know everyone is desperate for Wenger to bring in an older experienced striker to save our season but even if you take the best example of that type of striker Eto in his first 6 months at Chelsea he got 2 or 3 league goals. I wouldn't mind a top youngish prospect.

That's the current situation, yes. But if they don't find any buyers, I guess it will be better to loan him to us (and we pay his salary) than have him on the bench/with the reserves and never use him.

Too bad he played a game in the Champions League, especially if he is the big game player you guys say he is. Don't know too much about him myself.

Some rumours of Guarin going the other way to Juve apart of this deal, Juve are well stocked up unless they know they are gonna lose either Pogba/Vidal soon.

True forgot about that, I wonder if we were even in for Vucinic or was it just his agent spreading stories. Didn't Wenger flat out deny the move?
