That's the drawback for me. He ain't a "pull a bit o' magic" out the hat type. That said, effective players are what it's about these days
Vague rumours about Monaco making a "swoop" for Walcott in January. The articles I've seen quote reports without sources. Makes me wonder why they bother and where these rumours start.

And journos never learn also. Wenger may speak of Diego Costa but he rarely speaks about players he is actually intrested in. For them its easy 1+1=2 though.

I doubt they have changed their mind, especially if they are in the race for top 4 by then (which it looks like they are). Sell him for £40m-£50m or pocket £30m from CL. I think they will choose CL.
If Liverpool are far off a top 4 spot in January it might not be out of the question to sign him.
I predict they won't be.
I also predict they won't sell Suarez in January.
They aren't selling him to us anyway, which I am more than happy with. 🙂
