nope, for all the hype (and they sure do have a lot of talent) their last world cup win was 1990 and their last euro was 1996. sorta been nearly men, consecutive 3rd place finishes at the last two WC. runner up at the '08 euro and semi-finalist in '12.

Yes. Watch the last two seasons, we couldn't create enough.

We haven't played consistently well at the Emirates since Cesc left, we should be winning a lot more games there than we do. And Ozil's exactly the sort of player we need for those games we've struggled to score in... what a signing.

I am surprised a player of his calibre was interested in joining us. But we needed a break on that front - we can keep trying to make small 'internal' improvements; and we are as Ramsey and Giroud are showing...but adding a world class player is sure to speed the progress.

It's a phenomenal signing, and it feels so good after the patience and careful planning we have been going through. Man City and Chelsea fans will never understand.

Absolutely. It's hard to believe he's come to us and not United or Chelsea. But he has!

That in itself is big because United could do with him especially after failing to land cesc and mourinho signed him for Real although he probably doesn't need him at Chelsea!

Well tbf we paid him a boatload of money. You might say well so could Chelsea/Manure etc; but I think our wages were even higher. Plus the North London/Wenger/Not-being-a-joke-of-a-club-that-could-easily-bench-you-or-sack-the-manager-who-bought-you factor.
