Don't think it's an anti-Arsenal agenda, more that they just go with their preconceptions on all clubs far too often despite the evidence. Admittedly they are not helped by the minimal time they have to actually analyse anything with at least half the time in between matches used to show the goals again. In this case I think it's more Shearer trying to show he can talk about defence and tactics and showing how limited (inadequate) he is in this area. He did praise Arsenal's attack, but finished by trying to qualify it in terms of the impact on our defence. Even if that comment has a grain of truth, he expresses badly, or far too rushed which makes it seem that he has a bias.
As for the game, I though we would win far more comfortably, but the result is fine. Some questions thrown up, but with some key personnel missing there is still some major improvement we can expect to be made on this performance when they return.
