I don't think Bale is worth more than 40m. He obviously hit a purple patch, is great at scoring freekicks, can dribble at pace, hits superb long range shot, but they have Ronaldo for it? Ozil is special, very special.
Anyway, I do think Ozil is the perfect playmaker to have. If he develops here properly, he could be one of the best playmakers in history, like Zidane, Laudrup level. The only weakness in his game would be his finishing, he likes to be very casual in front of goal.
