A really significant day in our history. Almost a decade of no ambition, under achieving, big players only leaving (excuse me, Arsh and Santi) - finally over. An eternity of not spending (and "just making stars") - finally over. The idiotic mental block which had us "optimally aiming for 4th" - over. Being unappealing for other players - over. All the above with the end of the cash shortage (declared or true), perhaps with the realization that spending also pays for itself (and ambition has a marketing value) - this is a really nice day for us.
we can still enjoy shitting on spud's heads, but starting tomorrow we probably don't need to look at what these low lives are doing. It might be a bit early - with no significant addition up front we can't really expect to win the league - but the real issue is ambition/aim.
We're back. It's official.
