We all know that Ozil is a quality player but as we saw with Cesc you are limited when you have strikers such as B52 being fed.

it's because we couldn't get the right player and i tend to agree now that we're signing ozil. signing benteke or michu would be a massive waste of €30 mill and it would rule out a move for a proper world class striker in january or next summer.

Could have signed Higuain. That is the one that really annoys me.

If we are only looking for top players like Özil I don't really mind not getting a CF if none is now available. Ba on loan would have been sweet, but he is still a compromise.

Don't agree with how we have structured this window at all, but Özil is a terrific start. One player of his caliber in a year while not losing anyone important will soon enough put us right with the big boys.

If we hadn't pulled off this one signing (albeit a true blockbuster signing) this would have been a disaster of a transfer window. This squad is going to get its pants pulled down again before January window opens.

Oh well, at least we'll be quite a bit more fun to watch now.

true, but with ozil coming in i don't really care. ozil is a massive signing for us, both on and off the pitch. changes everything.
