And giving Rosicky an extension?

You'll be getting carried away then. Can we win anything with only Ozil and Viviano? Nope.

We can most definitely win something with Cazorla and Özil as the creators and Ramsey in the engine room. Even with a technically limited forward line like ours.

That's pushing it, GM.

Potentially maybe but he hasn't hit the heights Ozil did in 2011/2013, he was immense for R.Madrid that year. Ozil has come off a poor season imo

I can't think of anything interesting or insightful to write, I'm just desperate for this deal to go through.

Let's not get ahead of ourselves here.

Mourinho just couldn't get the best out of Ozil. Wenger will. He will thrive in a team like ours.

I wouldn't get too boosted just yet, we have just beaten Spurs so everyone naturally is in a good mood.

Work goes for a toss. I don't know how to concentrate.

Yeah, tomorrow is going to be a very unproductive day at work. Maybe I will book myself out for meetings the whole day.

Get it done!

Yes Isco is more talented(more of goal threat, better in tight spaces etc) but Ozil is currently the better player

6 pages in 3 hours? 394 to go to beat the wishlist thread..keep it up.

Özil was sensational during large spells of his Madrid career. The Özil of 2011/2012 would rip through the Premier League. If he performs anything like that I'll be thrilled with him.

😆 at people thinking we have a chance of signing Ozil.

Apparently we're paying £34m, that's approximately one (1) Andy Carroll

Favouriting this quote just in case 😉

Cadena SER say Mesut Ozil wants to join Arsenal. AS says United in for Ozil. Ozil has decided to join Arsenal via @carrusel. Aljazeera Sport has announced that Ozil is on his way to Arsenal.

Too many rumours going on.

I do think Isco is currently a better player in a better form, but Ozil is immense as well. Single handedly one of the best playmakers in the world. He might not have the outrageous skills of Isco, but his vision and intelligence is something else. I remember he had more assists and created more chances than Cesc did 2 years ago.

Even then, the squad which is barely worthy of being called a squad has done extremely well since Villa.

I am extremely happy but I have these moments of cursing that referee.

One thing this squad has as Wenger says is great spirit. Last season we kept coming back from impossible positions through the season and with the mood around the club, the Villa loss could have done a lot of damage.

Come on now Wenger, complete the hard work.

We are doing well because it's a tightly knit group which knows each other. We won't do so well when we are down to barebones in November with injuries and tired legs. Anything short of 4 players is a failure.
