Anyways, I couldn't sleep, so I'm up at 5:30 AM feeling like a kid on Christmas morning. Think about how long we've been saying that we'll never sign a big player, that we exclusively shop in the clearance section, etc. Ozil is probably the biggest signing of the summer for ANYONE.

Looking forward, is this type of signing a one off, or will it spur us to other big singings in the future?

Supposedly we will have 50m odd to spend each summer going forward so it's looking good. Just have to make ourselves a more attractive side for players to join. Ozil helps.

Even though SSN saying we are in for Di Maria I can't see us signing him if Ozil joins.

They've got Torres, Eto'o & Lukaku and can use the Schurrle there as well so might be willing to let him go. Think on a loan he will be a decent option for us, I can live with him, Giroud & Podolski and then this time last year go in last ditch again for a striker 😆

Ba would be a good short term option until wenger can get a striker he really wants. If he fancied Benteke he would have made a move before now i think.
