Out and about I can see many more wearing the club's colours today. Why not after yesterday's win. Have a set of club fans ever wanted a big transfer more? Time to deliver, Arsenal. Catch y'all on the other side. Enjoy.
#Deadline Day thread
Think he chose Marseille over everyone else.
What about some Mata talk? nothing in there to add to this crazy day?
Would be nice to end this day with Ozil and Mata
How much have Liverpool spent this window? Surely they have to let Suarez go to balance the books.
Edit: Guillem Balague โ@GuillemBalague 3m
Real Madrid rang Liverpool 2 weeks ago abt Suarez & wr told he is not 4 sale & dont ring again. No calls made by Madrid 4 Luis 2day so far

We need a striker!

I'd urge caution buddy, this is the Arsenal we are talking about.
No chance of Gundogan moving today according to Fjรธrtoft

Man United have denied that they have entered the chase for Mesut Ozil, but Sky sources understand contact has been made: #SkyDeadlineDay
Posturing for that SkyBet money.
From the BBC:
BENZEMA TO ARSENAL?
France football writer Matt Spiro: "Karim Benzema's agent Karim Djaziri has dismissed suggestions the Frenchman may leave Real Madrid today. 'Nothing has changed,' Djaziri told BBC Sport. 'Karim isn't joining Arsenal or anybody else. He's staying at Real Madrid. In any case, he's joined up with the France team today, and I doubt they'd even allow him to leave to discuss a move.'"
Spain football writer Andy West: "The rumours linking Karim Benzema with a move away from Real Madrid are a little far-fetched - unless Los Blancos have an immediate replacement lined up (i.e. Luis Suarez).
"Benzema is Madrid's only established centre forward following the summer departure of Gonzalo Higuain to Napoli, and it's unthinkable that they'd leave themselves with inexperienced youngsters Alvaro Morata and Jese Rodriguez as their only strikers.
"However, Benzema certainly isn't universally popular at the Bernabeu - he was whistled by some fans during Sunday's game with Bilbao - so if they can put together a late deal for Suarez they would probably be happy to let him leave."
Di Maria and รzil are being worked on by Gazidis and Wenger according to Sky.
24 pages on a topic that has nothing to do with us. When is the off contract deadline day?
Seriously though, aswell as a big star we are in desperate need of filling the squad. You all saw the bench yesterday. What's the point of having an Ozil if we have a couple of injuries and then people like Gnabry, Miyaichi, Zelalem are in the first 11?
I'm not putting myself through thinking about big name stars like Ozil/Di Maria etc who we won't stump up the money for. Realistically I expect another kid, probably French and 2 or 3 squad fillers - Benayoun type loan signings or cheap buys for 3-5 million. Hope for the best but expect the usual.
And Dick Law? I hope he's on the Kalou.

Still trying to work out which part of Cabeye will be most useful.
JUST UNDER 12 HOURS TO GO!
Sky sources are being told that Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger will do 'all he can' to wrap up deals for Real Madrid pair Mesut Ozil and Angel Di Maria on transfer deadline day.
Seems like Sky get all their information from twitter.
Oezil AND Di Maria!?
Would be amazing, but surely we need a striker and probably a defender? I guess if we got those two we might use Theo and Podolski (when he's back) through the middle a lot more.
