He didn't
Serie A 2013/2014
He did. I remember cos that move got me out my seat. Doritos went flying everywhere and I was shouting "shut up he never" at the laptop then came the pass which had me face palming
bastard does make his moves look super cool tho
You like Candreva Klaus?
Candreva is quality. Much better footballer than Cuadrado who we've been linked with and is getting a lot of attention lately.
If we are not buying Cuadrado as a RB then its pointless to have him.
Isn't he a winger?
Mostly ye. Has played wing back a good bit though when Fiorentina played 3 at the back. Never seen him at full back in a 4 and i doubt it would suit him.

I do. I have a soft spot for players who have had to work hard to get somewhere in their careers.
Bit hesitant to heap praise at him at the minute though. A lot of these late bloomers tend to disappoint ultimately. I really thought D'Agostino would be the bees knees a few years back. That didn't turn out to be the case, heh.
Luca Cigarini is another 'late bloomer'. Didn't do very well at Napoli/Sevilla but he's turned things around at Atalanta. Having a fantastic season by all accounts.
I always liked Cigarini too. He used to get pushed back too much in the field when he was younger, probably because he was tactically sound right from the go and could adapt to defensive needs immediately. This season he's playing a more balanced midfield game. It's the first time in years he's had a chance to really show how good he is on the ball.
Hubner was the king of the late bloom

"Let's meet by the exit you unworthy lot!"
italian fans are serious.
we didn't even tell our lot that after that 8-2 shellacking
Klaus, you think El Shaarawy could play #9 for us?
Roma with another draw, what happened to them?
They really need Totti back.
Volante wrote:Klaus, you think El Shaarawy could play #9 for us?
I reckon so, yeah. He could probably play any of the attacking roles at Arsenal. I don't think he knows himself what his best position is yet. Very mouldable player.
Milan have resurrected Kaká, by the way. It looks like he's turned back the time several years.
Montolivo was amazing today by all accounts.

Wonder if the Milan lab has anything to do with that...
Yeah, Montolivo is so great. Such an underrated player. Just his luck that he plays for a national team that already features Pirlo and De Rossi. He would have been one of the key Italian players of his generation otherwise.

Its just Madrid not using him correctly. Its clear to anyone he still has it everytime he played for Madrid.
AC Meelan 23 points behind Juve if they lose today
Balotelli back in form, another two goals today including a direct FK for the second week in a row.
Come to us, Mario. Don't waste more years on subpar managers.

Decent tune - who is that out of interest?
That highlight reel was Ibrahimovic-esque.
Gervinho is a really good footballer
If only he didn't have a weak mentality.........
Mehdi Benatia is a brilliant defender. I'd be very surprised if he doesn't have a number of top clubs trying to sign him in the summer.

I made the video by the way.

He's only been dodgy in one match from all the Roma matches I have seen this season.
He looks to have it all; good on the ball, in the air, at reading the game, and is very fast.
Doesn't he remind you a bit of Kos?

Cheers.
Is it just me or is Gervinho doing really, really well in Italy?
He's playing for Rudi Garcia again in a systme he played for years at Lille with the best possible centre forward for that system (though been injured for awhile). All set up for him to do well really.

I was surprised that Roma were the only ones trying to sign him this summer. He's been solid for a few years now.
Yeah, its always a mystery to me that the big boys in europe don't look to Serie A for defenders. There was little competition for Bonucci and Ranocchia few seasons ago too.
The only solid defender who is not really household name and moved to other leagues was Barzagli, and he flopped.
"L'incontenibile funambulo"
On a first pass my brain interprets that as "The Incontinent Fun Ambulance"
