I really wouldn't be surprised if Atletico won the CL this season. Think they could be a perfect cup team. I just hope we don't have to watch two more games of them against Barca though...

I only got to see the second half tbf, thought Atletico were great defensively but apart from a couple of Messi dribbles it never felt like a goal was coming. Just think Atletico v someone like Madrid, Dortmund or City would make for a classic knockout game, Barca would mean two games of passing in front of Atletico's box.

This ref is very 'un-Spanish' in the sense that he lets the teams play. In general, I thought he did a good job, but that two footed lunge by Mascherano on Arda should have been a straight red. Didn't even get a freekick! Neymar should have at least had a yellow too for his late, late kick.

Volly, in this game I feel that Barcelona are the ones who were the worst in that respect. Atletico were allowed to target Iniesta in the first though.

Not making that statement based on this match alone. Atleti foul more than any other team, including many ridiculous 'challenges'.

It's comparable but not exactly similar.

Worst match I've seen from Ronaldo in a long time. Isco for Di Maria.
