WHAT! You mean that our wonderful glorious record in the CL doesn't entitle us to a free pass to the knock out stages anymore? This is an outrage!
It is still enough for that free pass. Not that I think we had a free pass this season, mind.

These atletico players seem to like a confrontation/fight. Nice to see that sort of needle. Costa winding up Terry is a good tactic.
Dull affair so far. Whoever scores first has a massive advantage. Can't see more than 1 goal due to two deep defences.

As for this game, first time I've really seen A.Madrid play. Very street wise team and do not seem to be phased by anything.

Wonder if this could go 0-0 over the two legs plus ET? If any semi-final pairing are likely to do that it's these two. Has that ever happened in a CL semi before? Schwarzer in goal might give Atleti a better chance at scoring tonight though, I guess.
