According to @JamesOlley Debuchy has had surgery on his ankle and will be out for 3 months.
It's kind of weird that Wenger said we'd know on Friday, and never bothered to inform us after that.
We need to buy another RB. Bellerin could use a few more years to develop, and Chambers looks better at CB.

But more seriously, I think we got a glimpse of AW's emergency plan with Coq on the bench at Villa.
Even Monreal is injured till Oct. Hilarious stuff, we are left with 4 defenders and no proper backups. Surely Wenger could see this coming when he decided not to strengthen.
That's only about 4/5 games after this match.
Monreal injured is actually an issue (unlike Sanogo). Not confident in Gibbs playing our next four straight....may need to start Flamini at LB for a game.
If you think about it the only position in which we're worse off in terms of numbers compared to last season is at CB. It's uncomfortable for sure, guess we just have to count on major team work to get us out of trouble if we do lose any more to injury.
But we were already a little short on cbs last season, should've been signing one not selling one.
Well, we did sign Chambers and it looks like it was for CB. At this point it's regrettable we loaned Jenkinson who at least has a bit of PL experience, even if he is a kludger.
