The other week the telegraph estimated he'd be back for September so am assuming he's probably a few week behinds the rest of the squad in pre season. He'd have to be eased back in as well, probably some reserve games first before he is back with first team

Hugely important, the most crucial part of the season is the final third and more often than not our team hasn't exactly looked the fittest and we usually have the most injuries during that time. Now on the continent there have always been rumours of dodgy practises but can't imagine the rest of the league are doing it here as well! Have been hearing the same stories for years now about how our players get injured more often than others and while you can't 100% put it down to one man there is something obviously not right.

This fitness coach could be worth a £40 mil signing if he keeps out players from getting injured for half the season. Glad there seems an effort to sort the issues rather than just brush them off as luck, which is what we did in the past.

Unfortunately as expected England have completely done a number on him here. He'll have a bit of laxity in that knee. It will be easier to pick up cartilage injuries and ligament injuries from now on. Hopefully he gets away with it.

I'd put a decent chance on Ox become the next Keiron Dyer now. Arsene and his Dad should have been on the phone telling him what was at risk here. They say he will be fit for pre-season, but I doubt he will be able to go high intensity for a protracted period of time after these repeated ligament injuries.
