Not really. In recent seasons Diaby has had muscle problems in many different parts of his body - Wenger referred to it as an overall problem with the robustness of his muscle fibre, which I guess might be exacerbated by his lanky physique (ie he has very long muscles).
I guess it may have also been worsened by his ankle injury but I suspect he's just not built for enduring football. Right now he has some sort of ACL issue so he's basically just a crock!
But given the huge differences between Diaby and Wilshere, I think it's unlikely they'll develop similarly, not that Jack's ongoing issues aren't a concern.
A couple of soundbites have suggested there's been an understanding between Wilshere and Wenger that his recovery would be managed on the job this season - I think they both knew he wouldn't be quite right but at the same token couldn't afford a longer break from competition.
