We already know that something smells like Denmark at Arsenal though. What's more interesting to discuss is that I'm pretty sure injury statistics for any players who have moved to Premier League, and not just to Arsenal, follow a similar pattern. They are, on average, injured less in Spain or France or Italy than they are in England. And the reasons are obvious to my mind. The standard of the refereeing, the lack of a winter break, the added strain of a pointless league cup, the lack of understanding for congested fixture schedules... these are all real problems that Premier League needs to deal with. It's not funny anymore.
